As a Madonna Scholar alumnae you are probably in a very unique place in your life: studying at college, newly graduated in the working world, moving out on your own, getting married or starting a family. Whatever great thing you are doing with your life we hope that you will credit the opportunities that the Madonna Foundation gave to you through its scholarship program. We hope that you think about the girls who not too long ago were you, just trying to make their way across the stage at graduation. We hope that you will recognize that YOU too are a part of the Madonna Sisterhood – the sisterhood that stems deep in the roots of Madonna high school, continues through the great things you, our scholar alumnae, are doing and will remain through the many great things our current scholars will do in their lives.

“Become a Mentor”: A good role model can mold a woman into a strong, well-defined person of character. We are not all lucky enough to have had positive female role models in our lives, but we are fortunate enough to be able to be a positive role model to someone else. Mentors are an abundant value to any women, especially young women just starting to find their way in the world.
