Sabrina has come a long way since her freshman year at Notre Dame High School for Girls. “I remember being scared when I first entered high school – that I wouldn’t fit in or find friends,” Sabrina remembered. Since then, Sabrina has joined the soccer team and is now the captain of her cross country team. Last year, she was in the school’s musical The Wizard of Oz and became a member of the National Honors Society. She waitresses on the weekend, and is able to keep up great grades despite how busy she is.

Sabrina also stays busy as a Madonna Scholar. She enjoys the workshops and field trips because she likes to socialize with other scholars and make new friends. She credits her time as a Madonna Scholar as teaching her responsibility and leadership. After high school, Sabrina plans on going to a university to study physical therapy. She is interested in this career because of her love of sports and travel. She is grateful the Madonna Foundation has allowed her to attend a great school.
